About This Course
What you'll learn
The HLTAID009 unit, recognised nationally, provides essential skills and knowledge for performing CPR, defibrillation, and the recovery position, all in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
It is recommended to update this certification annually. This course is held face to face for 2.5 hrs and requires both written and practical components on the day.
Public courses are offered at our Warragul and Morwell sites, or you may choose to update your workplace easily with an onsite course and Baw Baw First Aid will come to you.
Please note that this unit requires you to be able to complete at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor. You may bring a small pillow if support is required.
*A minimum number of participants is required for the course to take place.
