HLTSS00061 – Food Safety Supervision Skill Set for Community Services and Health Industries is designed for those responsible for supervising food safety programs in settings where food is prepared and served to vulnerable groups. This includes aged care, childcare, disability services, hospitals, and community organisations.
Combining HLTFSE001, HLTFSE005, and HLTFSE007, this course provides Level 1 & 2 food safety coverage. It equips learners with the skills to manage day-to-day food safety operations, monitor hazard control at critical points, and lead safe food handling practices across an organisation.
Participants will complete theory assessments online and submit a third-party observation report verified by a workplace manager or supervisor. A short declaration video is also required.
Note: This course does not issue a NSW FSS Certificate. For NSW-specific training, please enrol in the NSW Food Safety Supervisor course.
